Trials of Mana is a full 3D remake of the third game in the Mana series, originally released in Japan as Seiken Densetsu 3. The entire game has been fully rebuilt from the ground up with modern 3D graphics.

Music: 

Compose 60 music tracks, by Kikuta Hiroki. 

The soundtrack by Hiroki Kikuta was arranged by a large team, with Kikuta supervising.

The story follows six possible protagonists in their respective quests, which lead them to obtain the Mana Sword and fight a world-ending threat. In gameplay, the player controls three out of six characters, navigating field environments, fighting enemies in real-time combat, and making use of character classes. New to the gameplay and storyline is a post-game chapter with an unlockable class. Originally a near-direct remake with plans for multiplayer as in the original, the team instead went for a 3D single-player experience which tweaked some aspects and added content while remaining faithful overall.  Reception of the game on release was generally positive, with praise going to its redesigned combat and soundtrack, though many faulted its English dub and archaic elements. 

Pick your Party

Players can choose their favourite protagonist and two companions from six different characters. The story will play out in different ways depending on the combination of the protagonist and companions in the party.

Class changing Raise your level and become the top-level classes. The character’s appearance and the magic and special attacks that they can learn will change depending on which class is selected and the light/ dark alignment.

STORY:

Trials of Mana tell the story of six heroes in their battle to defeat monsters of destruction trying to take over the world whilst the power of Mana has been weakened.

The Goddess of Mana drew forth the Sword of Mana to smite the eight Benevodons, monsters of destruction. She sealed the horrors inside the eight Mana Stones, bringing the realm back from the brink. Weakened from rebuilding the world, the Goddess changed herself into a tree and fell into a deep sleep for many years.

However, the forces of evil soon sought to free the Benevodons to gain control of the world. They started a terrible war to further their plot and destabilize the kingdoms. Peace was at an end. Mana itself began to disappear from the world and the Mana Tree started to wither...

CLASSES:

strengthens characters besides levelling up is switching classes. In new classes, the characters learn new class strikes and magic spells. The player can pick either the "Light" or "Dark" path depending on how you want to develop the character's abilities.

The Light and Dark classes are proficient in different abilities and attacks. 

 Light class:

Duran can learn healing magic and equip a shield, making him a balanced fighter. 

Dark class:

 Duran gains lots of attack power and can be unstoppably strong if properly buffed.

 With an improved system and QOL enhancements, the music remake is just as good and some tracks are better. Seems too easy at first but gets harder on hard mode.

 Everything you know and love about the original release has been recreated in beautiful graphics. Boss battles are extremely fun, but if you are looking for something difficult this is not the game for that. The graphics aren't as heavy as most modern games, but they still look great with the art direction used. Actually surprised how good the screen space reflections are in some of the areas. The developers did an incredible job on the remake and deserve full support for their hard work. Highly recommend this title!...
